Ingredients:
Note: The day I learned I was going to be a grandmother I enrolled in a cinnamon roll baking class.

For the dough:
2 cups hot water
1 stick real butter
1/2 cup Crisco
2 T. yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
7 cups flour (approximately)
For the filling:
1 lb. light brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks real butter
3 T. cinnamon
For the frosting:
1 stick butter
4 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 box powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Place butter and Crisco in a very large bowl and pour hot water over it. Allow hot water to soften fats. Proof the yeast and add to the mixture using a wire whisk...add sugar, eggs, baking powder and salt. Continue to whisk...Switch to a large wooden spoon...Add first four cups flour and mix till smooth...Add additional flour till dough is soft, but do not knead...After sticky stage, use your hands to do the mixing...Cover with a tea towel...Let rise 1 to 3 hours...Roll dough into a rectangle 1/2 inch thick...Spread with filling mixture...Roll like a jellyroll putting tension on the dough...Using a thread and ruler, cut the roll into 1 1/2 inch slices...Lay 2 inches apart on a parchment covered cookie sheet...Allow to rise until doubled in size...Bake at 350 degrees approx. 15 minutes or till golden brown...Frost while still warm...
