2 sticks butter
¾ c. brown sugar
½ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 t. baking soda
½ t. salt
1½ c. flour
3 c. oats
1½ c. raisins (that have been soaking in boiling water for 10 minutes)
***Can substitute 1 bag of chocolate chips for raisins.***

Mix well and drop by spoonfulls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes
