2 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
2 T. sugar
1 t. salt
½ c. butter
1 c. milk




Strawberries:
Wash and cut berries then coat with sugar and set aside until shortcake is done.
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, then add milk all at once. Blend good!
Pour into 2 greased cake pans and bake at 450º for 12-15 minutes.



Icing:

powder sugar
½ c. butter
1½ t. vanilla
little milk


Serve with vanilla ice cream. Hand cranked!!!
