3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 sticks of butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. chocolate bits
2/3 c. cocoa
1/4 c. cream or OJ or cranberry juice

Vanilla variation -
Change sugars to 1 cup sugar and 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
No cocoa or chocolate bits.

Bake 15 minutes at 325º.
