Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 ˝ cups Oreo crumbs (I substitute these for the original recipe’s graham cracker crumbs; either are good but I prefer Oreo)
1 stick butter
1 can Eagle brand condensed milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips (or butterscotch or other flavored ‘meltable’ chips)

(you can also include chopped nuts, coconut, or other flavors…I usually leave these out – why mess up the chocolate??)

Directions:
Directions:
It is just a variation on the famous Eagle Brand 7-Layer Cookie Bars; I change the ingredients based on what I have in the pantry, and/or what flavors I want to add or leave out of the original recipe.

Preheat oven to 350.

Melt butter in 9” x 13” pan; when melted add the Oreo crumbs to cover the bottom of the pan.

Pour condensed milk over the crumbs.

Add chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, etc. plus whatever else you might want to include and press down into the condensed milk.

Bake for about 25 minutes, but watch them closely as the condensed milk turns hard as a brick if it is cooked too long – check before 25 min. is up.

I like to serve with ice cream, topped with hot fudge, and eat w/a fork. Or course, you can always just cut them and eat them like ‘bars’.
