Ingredients: Since this is a family book I will explain who the people are and how they fit in the family and my fond memories of them: First I would like to start with Dorothy Mannausau. She was a wonderful cook! I remember her cooking roasts or ham with all the fixings for a large crowd of her children and grandchildren. With cucumbers, dill pickles, and corn grown in her garden out behind her house. She would make pickles and frozen corn which to this day there is nothing that comes close to hers. She made wonderful homemade bread. I know she has a special place in heaven after having all us grand kids down there with her. With us girls were dressing up in the former prom dresses and high heels clomping down the hallway and the boys doing their thing outside she never raised her voice to any of us. I could go on with many stories but I will just let you remember her in your own way and with your special memories of her and the farm or for the great grandkids and their kids the stories we have told over the years.
