1-cup softened butter
1- cup packed bown suger
2 - large eggs room temperature
1- teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 -teaspoon nutmeg
1- Tablespoon cinnamon
1- teaspoon baking soda
1/4- teaspoon salt (optional)

1 1/2- cups all purpose flour
3- cups old- fashioned oats
1 cup chopped Granny Smith apples

Directions:

In large bowl crean butter ,sugar ,eggs ,vanilla.
In a separate bowl mix together flour, cinnamon ,nutmeg ,baking ,soda ,salt ,
Add to cream mixture. Mix together fold in oaks and chopped apples, mix well
Drop by Tablespoonful 2 in apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 until brown 10-12 minuets . Let stand on baking sheet for 1 minuets before moving to wire racks
