1 cup Warm Milk
2 tsp Salt
2 T Sugar
5 T Shortening (room temp)
1 pkg Dry Yeast
2 Eggs
2½ cups Flour, sifted
1 stick melted Butter, unsalted
Red Sugar
Raisins
Cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Soak yeast in warm milk with 1 T sugar and let set 10 minutes. Add shortening. Beat salt & eggs, and add. Add flour, mix & knead to resemble pie dough. Let rise until double in size.

For rolls, roll dough out on a floured surface to about ¼" thick. Spread with melted butter, red sugar, raisins, and cinnamon. Roll up like a jelly roll, pinch ends shut, and let rise. Slice into 1¼" pieces, arrange in a baking pan, and top with more butter & red sugar.

For coffee cake, roll out to ½", place in a baking pan, and spread with coffee cake topping.
 

Coffee Cake Topping

3/4 cup Butter
1/3 cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 T Cinnamon
1/3 cup melted Butter

Cut together first 4 ingredients with a pastry blender until crumbly. Brush dough with melted butter and sprinkle heavily.
