Grammy's Meatloaf Recipe

2 slices of dark rye bread
2 slices of wheat bread
1 lb. ground beef or ground sirloin
3-5 green onions
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Pinch of garlic powder
3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup or more Ketchup
1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 small can tomato sauce for top of meatloaf

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread slices in bowl and pour 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup water over bread and let stand for several minutes. Mash with fork and pour any excess water out of bowl.

Add meat, onions, Parmesan cheese, egg, seasoning, ketchup and mustard.

Form into a loaf and place in a loaf pan or small casserole dish.

Bake @ 350° for 50-60 minutes. The last 15 minutes pour tomato sauce over meatloaf.

Optional: Sprinkle Oregano or Italian seasoning over tomato sauce.
