3 T. butter (melted)
1/3 cup minced onion (dried)
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 T. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt


Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate overnight before using if using minced onion. I have used fresh sweet onion, chopped very finely and sautéed until soft before mixing in to sauce.

My mom had this in her recipe box and said it was a recipe Grammy gave her. This is great for chicken or pork, but my favorite use is with a beef brisket in the crock pot. Low and slow, all day, then chop or pull for sandwiches.
