Personal Notes:
This recipe is written in my old spiral bound index card recipe book that I had when I lived alone in the Lake Madison cabin. No date, but I have made it MANY times, beginning with my single days. 1988ish? It is one I love to use for making convention cookies. The first time Mindy made these cookies at our house, she marveled at the generous amount of chocolate chips in the cookies!
