Ingredients:  
Boil 1 minute: 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup milk, 2 squares chocolate (or 6 tablespoons cocoa & 2 tablespoons butter) - cool

Beat 2 eggs and mix in 3/4 cup sugar - add to the cooled mixture - add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 1/4 cup flour and a pinch of salt

spoon by tablespoon on waffle iron about 50 seconds


Frosting:
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons milk
1 stick butter
1# powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cool cookies on rack

Frosting:
Bring to a boil the cocoa - milk and butter and pour over the powdered sugar - beat well and add the vanilla and chopped nuts
Spread on the cookies
When frosting is set - store in container to keep cookie soft and moist
