8 large scallops
300 ml milk
1/2 tsp. salt & pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
4 Tbsp. medium sweet white wine
1 lb. fresh mashed potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer scallops (cut in half) in milk for 15 minutes. Strain, save liquid. Heat 1 Tbsp. butter. Stir in flour, then add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper, add sliced mushrooms and simmer 10 minutes. Add wine and scallops. Transfer to oven proof dish and cover with mashed potatoes. Dot with butter and bake at 350F for 20-30 minutes.
