6 cups all bran cereal
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup cooking oil
4 beaten eggs
5 teaspoons soda
1 quart buttermilk
2 teaspoons salt
5 cups unsifted flour
2 cups boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over two cups of bran cereal. Set aside while measuring the remaining ingredients. Then mix everything together. Store in refrigerator until ready to use. Bake in greased muffin tins at 400 for 18 to 20 minutes.May add raisins or dates to batter just before baking.
