¾ cup golden Crisco shorting (175ml)
1 ¼ cups lightly packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 ½ cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chipits semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans ( coarsely chopped)

1. Preheat oven 375º
2. Cream Crisco and brown sugar in large bowl at med. speed of electric mixer 2 min.
3. Add egg, milk, vanilla beating 1 min. or until blended
4. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, then gradually add to cream mixture at low speed
5. Stir in chips and nuts
6. Drop by 2 teaspoonful on ungreased sheet
7. Bake 375º 8-10 minutes. Cookies will appear moist when baked. Remove to rack. Cool 2 min
