2 C. molasses
1 C. Crisco
3 t. soda
2 t. ginger
1 t. cinnamon
3 eggs
6 C. flour
Icing
6 T. butter, (lightly browned)
3 T. hot water
1 t. vanilla
powdered sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, except those for icing. Bake at 350º until done. Icing: Mix butter, water and vanilla. Thicken with powdered sugar. If too thick, add a little milk. Dip into sugar and roll into balls, then roll in sugar. Roll into icing when warm or cold.
