1 3/4 Cup Boiling Water
1 Cup Oatmeal
1/2 Cup Margarine.
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1/13 Cup Flour
1 t. soda
1 t. Cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmet
1/2 t. Salt

Topping:
6 T. Margarine, melted
3/4 C. Canned Milk
1 C. Coconut
1/2 C. Sugar
1 C. Chopped nuts (Pecans)
1 t. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal and butter. Let this mixture stand 20 minutes. Mix into the oatmeal mixture the brown sugar, sugar, and eggs. Mix dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to oatmeal mixture. Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

While cake is still warm, spread with topping:


Mix all topping ingredients. Spread on top of warm cake. Brown the topping under the broiler (Place about 3 inches away from heat)
