1 lb ground beef
1 lb of ground pork
3 - 28 cans of Crushed or Diced Organic canned Tomatoes
2 or 3 - 6oz Tomato Paste
3 C of Beef Broth
1 lb portabella or criminol Mushrooms sliced
4 cloves Garlic Minced
1 Onion peeled and chopped
3 Stalks Celery Chopped
3/4 C of Minced Parsley
1 T Sugar
3 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp fresh Ground Pepper


Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground meat in 2 batches cooking until it starts to get a bit crispy. Put in largest of soup pans. Add garlic oil to pan and saute mushrooms adding minced garlic last 2 minutes of cooking. Add to the soup pan. In same cast iron skillet saute onion until soft and translucent adding additional olive oil to keep it from sticking. Add to soup pan along with celery and parsley and remaining ingredients. Cook covered 2-3 hours on simmer stirring occasionally or on low in crock pot all day.

If you don't have a good source for ground pork or ground pork sausage, you can substitute ground turkey or a ground beef.
