1/2 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 T. sweet cream
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t. cloves
1 c. raisins
1/2 nuts
2 c. flour
1/2 t . soda

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and add cream, dry ingredients and fruit, drop by teaspoonfuls and bake 9-10 minutes @ 375.

Memories from Sylvia Cater Aud Polulak: Bud (Wayne) would come home from school and say "I'm home Vashti!" Bud called Mom that as much as he called her Mom. She loved it and thought it was great! This was her biblical middle name.
