Ingredients:  
1 st marg
2 cup sugar
2 cup water
2 cup finely chopped apples
1.5 cup self rising
.3 cup milk
.5 cup shortening
1 teas cinnamon
Heat oven 350
Melt marg in 13 x 9 pan
Add sugar and water heat til sugar is melted set aside
Cut shortening in flour add milk blend well
Turn onto lightly floured surface
Knead til smooth
Roll dough to lg rectangle abt .3 inch thick*
Sprinkle cinnamon over apples
Spread apples over dough
Roll up dough into jelly roll
Cut into .5 inch slices
Place in pan with melted butter
Spoon buttery syrup over rolls
Bake 350 55 minutes until lightly browned
