2 lbs lean beef stew meat
1-3 tbsp flour
1-2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 medium carrots cut into 1 in slices
2-3 c diced peeled potatoes
1 lg onion, chopped
1 can crushed tomatoes with juice
2 c boiling water
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In lg sealable plastic bag, combine the flour and beef-- shake to coat. In a skillet brown beef in oil. With a slotted spoon-transfer meat to a slow cooker and add remaining ingredients, stir and cook on low until meat and vegetables are tender. About 8-10 hours.
