1 pound of dry navy beans soaked overnight in water
1 onion chopped
3 TBS canola oil
3 TBS flour
6 TBS apple cider vinegar
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beans in 1 1/2 quarts of water with salt over medium heat for 45 minutes or until tender. Meanwhile saute onion in oil until tender and add flour cook for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of hot water and stir to make a slurry and add back to beans. Add cider vinegar 1 TBS at a time to taste.
