Prepare piecrust - using favorite recipe= enough for top and bottom crust.
3 TBS sugar
1 TBS cornstarch
1 C unsweetened pineapple juice
2 - 5 oz jars neufchatel cheese spread with pineapple
1 C sifted powdered sugar
1/3 C finely chopped pecans
3 to 4 cups chopped assorted fruit such as: strawberries, blueberries, kiwi,pineapple chunks,bananas, peaches, papaya, grapes

Preheat oven to 425º F

Prepare pastry, roll dough out to a 15 x 10 inch rectangle. Transfer to a baking sheet. Prick surface with fork and bake fro 12 to 15 minutes or until golden. Cool in pan on wire rack.

In saucepan stir together granulated sugar and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple juice. Cook and stir until mixture is thickened and bubbly; cook and stir 2 minutes more. Cover surface of mixture with waxed paper or plastic wrap; cool. In mixing bowl combine neufchatel cheese, powdered sugar, and pecans.

To assemble tart, remove pastry from pan and place on large serving tray. Spread cheese mixture over pastry base to within 1/2 inch of edge. Arrange desired fruit over cheese. Carefully spoon cooled pineapple glaze over fruit to cover. Chill 2 to 6 hours.
