3 cups flour
1 cup icing sugar
1 pound butter (softened)
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix softened butter and icing sugar. Add flour, one cup at a time.
Knead with hands well. Coat with flour and wrap in waxed paper.
Chill in frig. for at least an hour. Divide into thirds. Flour board well.
Roll out one third (about 1/4 inch thick. cut with floured cookie
cutters. Bake at 345 degrees for 12 minutes or when cookies
become brown around the edges. NOTE: Cookies continue to
brown after removal from the oven so avoid overbrowning when baking.
