1/3 C orange flavored liqueur
1/4 C orange juice
1 12 oz frozen ready to serve pound cake, thawed
2 12 oz jars seedless raspberry jam
3 C whipping cream
2 4 oz packages vanilla instant pudding
2 C milk
4 1 oz squares semisweet chocolate

Directions:
In a small bowl combine orange liqueur and orange juice. With a serrated knife, cut pound cake horizontally into 3 layers.

Brush cut side and top of pound cake generously with orange liqueur mixture.

In a medium bowl stir raspberry jam until smooth. Spread bottom layer of pound cake with 1/4 C jam; top with middle layer, spread 1/4 C jam over middle layer.

Replace top of pound cake. Slice layered pound cake crosswise into 1/2 inch thick slices.

In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form.

In another bowl, prepare pudding using 2 C milk. Grate orange peel, add to mixture. Fold whipped cream into pudding mixture.

In heavy 1 quart pan over low heat, heat chocolate, stirring frequentl, until melted and smooth; remove saucepan from heat.

To Assemble Trifle: In a 4 QT glass bowl, place 2 cups pudding mixture. Spread with half of the remaining raspberry jam, then 1 cup pudding mixture. Drizzle with half the melted chocolate. Arrange some layered pound cake slices around side of bowl. cut remaining pound cake slices into chuns and layer in bowl. drizzle with remaining chocolate. Spread enough pudding mixture to cover cake. Spoon remaining jam around edge of bowl. Spoon remaining pudding mixture into decorating bag with large star tip and pipe to make a pretty design.
