3 1/2 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 C sugar
1/2 stick softened margarine
1/2 C buttermilk
2 eggs - beaten
1/2 tsp vanilla


Vegetable oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients with a fork. Gradually add liquid ingredients. If dough is too sticky add more flour. Roll out dough. Cut dough into diamond shapes and put a hole in the center, pull top of diamond through the center hole and twist. Fry in oil heated to 375º until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar.
