1 stick of butter (½ cup)
30 large marshmallows (not jumbo)
½ tsp vanilla
Green food coloring
3 ½ cups Corn flakes
Optional: Cinnamon red hots

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, melt the butter and marshmallows over medium heat, stirring constantly.
When mixture is smooth, add vanilla and food coloring. Fold in the corn flakes until coated. Butter your hands. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper to cool. Shape with buttered hands. Work quickly. Add red hots if desired. Allow to cool. Note: The more green dye you add, the more vibrant your holly cookies are.
