2 ½ cups unsifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 C margarine
1 C peanut butter
1 C sugar
1 C firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl stir flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat margarine and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in sugars until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture; beat until well blended. If necessary, refrigerate dough. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar, making a crisscross pattern. Bake at 350º for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheets and cool completely on a wire rack. Store in a tightly covered container.
