2 T. vanilla flavoring
3 c. self rising flour
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 sticks butter
1 c. buttermilk or sweet milk

Icing

4 c. sugar
12 T. cocoa
3 c. can cream(evaporated milk)
3 sticks butter
4 T. Vanilla

Batter

Cream the sugar, butter and eggs, gradually add flour,milk and vanilla
(grease and flour cake pans) Spread 3-4 T. of batter in pans. Bake 8-10 minutes in preheated 400 degree oven. Makes 12-15 layers.

Icing

Mix sugar, cocoa, butter and vanilla in pot, then gradually add cream. Bring to a rolling boil and boil approx. 2 minutes. Turn off.

Pour over each layer.
