¾ c. peanut butter
¼ c. margarine
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. white flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. baking soda
¾ tsp. salt
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 med. apple, peeled and chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butters, add sugar, vanilla and eggs. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Add and stir in oats and apple. Put ¼ c.
mounds of dough (or less) onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly, add cherry or nut (opt). Bake @ 350º for
12 - 14 min. Cool 1 min. before removing from pan. Yield 20.
