1 cup crisco
2 cups light brown sugar - 1 box
2 eggs unbeaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups white lily plain flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Turn on board.
Chill. Roll thin.
Cut with cookie cutter. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Place half of pecan on each cookie.
Bake 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
