8 oz. dates, chopped ½ c. sugar dash salt
½ c. coconut 4 T. butter 1 slightly beaten egg
1 ½ c. rice krispies 1 tsp. vanilla red and green sugar

In skillet, combine first 6 ingredients. Cook and stir over medium low heat until mix bubbles and thickens. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Cool for 10 minutes. Form into balls and roll in red and green sugar.
