12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 egg
1 cup butter, softened ¾ c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups oats 1 ¼ c. flour 2 t. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda ¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Melt 1 c. chocolate chips. Cool. Beat together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and melted chocolate. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in remaining 1 c. chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool one minute on cookie sheet.
