: 1 c. and 2 T. flour 1/3 c. sugar 1 egg yolk
½ c. butter softened ½ tsp. vanilla candied cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and sugar. Add butter and mix as for pie crust until coarse crumbs are formed. Add egg yolk and vanilla and mix with fingers until dough holds together. Form into ball and refrigerate 20 minutes or until dough holds together. Measure ½ teaspoon pieces of dough into balls and place 1” apart on cookie sheet. Press cherry halves into center. Bake at 350º for 12 minutes.
