"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Brown the ground beef and onion, drain. Return back to the pan and add the sauce, salt, pepper, garlic salt bay leaf. Simmer until hot. While the sauce is simmering, cook the noodles al dente. (the noodles should be a little under cooked as they will finish cooking in the oven) In a 9x13 pan, cover bottom of pan with meat sauce, then layer half of the noodles, and more of the meat sauce mixture. Top with the cheeses and repeat with remaining noodles, meat sauce and cheeses. Bake in a 350 degree oven until cheese is melted and everything is hot and bubbly. Serve with a salad, if desired. Delicious!

This recipe can also be put in two 9x9 pans and freeze one for another time. Please use whatever cheeses you prefer. This recipe was from years ago so we did not know that Velveeta was a cheese food, not real cheese. Choose whatever cheese you prefer. Parmesan, Provel, Shredded Cheddar, etc.
