6 cups yellow squash, sliced
3 eggs
3 slices bread
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
4 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook squash in boiling water until soft. Mash slightly with butter. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition. Add salt and pepper to taste. Put half of squash mixture in casserole dish. Cover with1/2 of the breadcrumbs and 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 until lightly brown and set in the middle.
