1 cup butter
1 cup shortening
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs beaten
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and softened butter and shortening add the eggs and mix well
Add all dry ingredients and mix well

Roll in balls and flatten with a glass that is dipped in sugar

Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes
