1/2 pound butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs, separated
1/4 teaspoon soda
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add flour sifted with dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Add vanilla. Grease and flour a large tube pan. Pour in batter and bake at 325 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
