1/2 pound butter 3 cups sugar 6 eggs, separated 1/4 teaspoon soda 3 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add flour sifted with dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Add vanilla. Grease and flour a large tube pan. Pour in batter and bake at 325 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
