4 1/2 cups Sugar
1 can Evaporated Milk
1 cube of Butter
1 cube of Margarine
3 cups (6 oz. pkg) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar and evaporated milk into pan and bring to boil.

Reduce heat to low and stir constantly for 10 minutes.

Add chocolate chips, butter, and margarine and continue stirring until all ingredients are melted.

Remove from heat and continue stirring until cool and thickened.

Pour into oiled baking pan. Cool and cut into one inch squares.

You can add chopped walnuts to the recipe. Grandma always made a small portion with nuts for me. She's the best!
