4 eggs
1 ½ cup Karo light or dark syrup
1 ½ cups sugar
3 Tbsp melted butter
1 ½ tsp vanilla
2 ½ cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare and bake cookie crust. Meanhile in large bowl beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Immediately pour over hot crust: spread evenly. Bake 25 minutes or until filling is firm around edge and slightly firm in center. Cool completely and cut into 2 x 1 ½ inch bars.

Cookie Crust: Spray 15x10x1 inch baking sheet. In mixer bowl beat 2 ½ cups flour and 1 cup of butter, ½ cup sugar until mixture resembles fine crumbs, press firmly into prepared pan. Bake 20-23 minutes or until golden brown. Top with filling and finish baking.
