1 - 7oz package of egg noodles OR dumpling loaf
3 Lbs disjointed frying chicken, clean and wet
1 Small onion (chopped)
4 TBS Butter
1/2 Pint Sour Cream
1 Heaping TBS Paprika
1 and 1/2 Cups Water
2/3 TSP Salt
1 Dash of Pepper
2 Heaping TBS Flour

NOTE: 2LBs of veal may be used in place of the chicken. Makes 4-5 Servings.

Directions:
Cook noodles/ dumplings as directed. Chop 1 small onion and brown in 4 TBS butter in deep frying pan Add heaping TBS paprika. Stir rapidly and immediately place chicken into pan. Stir again so paprika
does not burn. Add 1 and 1/2 cups water along with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or
until tender. When chicken is done, remove from paprika sauce and place into serving dish. Keep warm.

Gravy:
Take 1/4 cup of water and add two heaping TBS of flour to make paste. Add a half pint of sour cream and
stir. Bring paprika sauce to a boil and add sour cream sauce. Stir continuously at a boil for 1 minute. Return chicken to gravy and serve hot over noodles or dumplings.
