2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. (12 oz) chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, gradually beat in the flour. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes and then move to cooling rack.
