4 eggs

1½ cups sugar

1 tps vanilla

¼ tsp nutmeg

1 tsp salt

6 Tbs butter, melted

2 cups buttermilk
2 tsp baking soda (mix into buttermilk)

6 tsps baking powder
6 cups flour
1 Tbs cardamon (I like more)

1. Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla

2. Melt butter and ad to mixture

3.Combine buttermilk and soda, add to mixture

4. Combine flour, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and cardamon

5. Add flour slowly

6. Roll out and cut doughnuts

7. Fry in deep fat frier
