Meatballs:
Package of ground beef (~ 1 pound of meat)
1 egg
3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley

Pasta Sauce:
1 can of whole tomatoes (796 ml or 28 oz) OR Strained Tomato container (680 ml)
1 can of tomato paste (5.5 oz)
1 garlic clove
¼ onion
Parsley bunch
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon salt
Oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine meat, egg, breadcrumbs, cheese and seasonings in a large bowl. Mix well.
2) Roll into balls ~ 25 small meatballs.
3) Add meatballs into boiling water for 2-3 min to remove excess fat.
4) Drain the water with a sieve and set the meatballs aside.
5) Mince up the garlic and onion and sauté in a large pot with oil.
6) Add meatballs to sauté mixture and stir to coat.
7) Add tomato paste and meatballs to a large pot.
8) In a blender, blend canned tomato and parsley together and then add to the pot along with the dried basil, rosemary and salt.
9) Add 1 cup of water and parmesan cheese to the pot and stir to mix well.
10) Bring to a boil and then let it simmer for about 1 hour. Make sure to stir every 10-15 min so nothing sticks.
11) Bring to boil any pasta and once cooked, drain and add to the pot.
12) Once it is combined, serve and sprinkle additional parmesan cheese on top if desired.
