1 lb. applewood smoked bacon, cut into thirds
14 oz. package of lil smokies’ smoked sausage
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
toothpicks

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with pam. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar and chili powder and set aside. Cut bacon into thirds, and roll each lil smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a tooth pick. Roll each bacon wrapped smokie in the brown sugar/chili powder mixture. Place on foil lined cookie sheet. Dump remaining brown sugar mixture over the top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the bacon is browned.

If you need to double this recipe, use 2 cookie sheets and alternate putting 1 on top in the oven then swap them around halfway through. Just don’t forget the foil or the pam. On another note, these are so addictive, you'll probably consume more than you should!
