Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 16-oz can peach halves
1 can pineapple slices
1 16-oz can pear halves
Maraschino cherries, with stems if available
⅓ cup butter
¾ cup brown sugar
3-4 tsp. curry powder (according to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the fruit and dry well on paper towels. Arrange fruit in 1½ quart casserole. I put the pear halves on the bottom, the pineapple slices in the middle, and the peach halves on top with the maraschino cherries in the peach cavities. You can do other arrangements, but the cherries should always be on the top. Melt butter, add sugar and curry, and spoon over fruit. Bake, uncovered, in a 350-degree oven, for 1 hour.

Personal Notes:
This is a good side dish to serve with ham, poultry, or other entrees. The recipe is from the "Entertaining with Imagination" cookbook that I got for Christmas from four-year-old Winnie for Christmas in 1974. (I think she had help from her dad.)
