¼ cup butter melted
1 cup brown sugar

1 egg

¾ cup flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar with hot butter. Cool. Stir in egg. Blend dry ingredients and mix into butter mix. Stir in vanilla & walnuts. Spread in greased 8x8x2“ pan. Bake 25 minutes at 350º until touch leaves a slight fingerprint. Cut while warm.
Can be doubled.
