3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 - 2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. crushed anise seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until light. Sift sugar into the eggs gradually and beat these ingredients until they are creamy. Add the vanilla. Sift the flour before measuring. Resift with baking powder. Mix in anise seed.
Add to the sugar and eggs and beat well. Drop by teaspoon on greased tins and permit to dry for 12 hours or more. Bake in slow oven (350*) for 8-10 minutes.
