1 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Caking Soda
3 Cups Oatmeal
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Walnuts

Directions:

Preheat Oven to 375
Combine ingredients in a large bowl (I find it easier to mix the dry ingredients first and then add the eggs, shortening and vanilla)
Use cooking spray on pan/baking sheet
Place cookies made to your desired size on baking sheet and bake for roughly 11 minutes. Repeat until all cookies are made.
