1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour or GF flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

1 container cream cheese icing (Pillsbury is GF)

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla. Mix well. Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Divide dough in half. Shape each into a disk; wrap in plastic. MUST REFRIGERATE 2 hours or until firm enough to roll.

Preheat oven to 350º. On a floured surface, roll each portion of dough to 1/4" thickness. Cut with a floured 3" cookie cutter. Place 2" apart on baking sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes or until "shine" is gone from top of cookies and tops spring back when lightly touched. Let cool about a minute before placing on aluminum foil to cool completely. Decorate and icing. Let icing "set up" a couple hours before placing between wax paper in a container to store.

Makes about 3 1/2 dozen 3" cookies
